Igor Tolstoy photography looks at documentary, fashion and fine art and has been featured in a wide range of publications. It was whilst studying at the University of the Arts London that his individual and dynamic style developed. He strongly believes in preserving the use of film in photography, which he uses through out his.

Whiles his work looks at a variety of types of photography he has an ongoing project documenting Moscow from early 2004. The photographs depict Moscow a rapidly changing city with a resonance of a still ever present Soviet influence.

Recently he has started working with an up and coming conceptual clothes designer with many exciting new projects in the pipeline. Projects to date include a grass dress and a large blue dress depicted in an extremely painterly image with a tree that had previously been struck by lightning all of which can be viewed in Igor Tolstoy's photography portfolio.
